Membership Information

This is the membership committee central. We are working on several issues related to the entrance of new members into the Los Angeles Eco-Village Intentional Community, and with the membership details for the future.

• Bienvenidos Committee - A committee re-formed (resurrected) by the membership committee with the goal of helping manage the current process. “Bienvenidos” is Spanish for “those who are welcome”.

• LAEV orientation handouts.doc this is a work in progress that exists mainly as a word document. It’s purpose is to be the basis for the orientation of prospective members. There is also a google documents version here. There are a few building blocks in wiki page form such as:

Action

• Bienvenidos Committee Central - The Bienvenidos Committee has a more administrative function. It deals with replying to interested people, keeping databases, making phone calls and providing access to documents -among other things-. The Bienvenidos Commitee Central is for keeping those things. Note: you need a password to access many of these pages.
  • InProcessHidden - (note that you need to enter your password) - List of people currently in the process, and their questionnaires. Also other hidden stuff including the Liaison List which includes liaisons, and who’s responding to bienvenidos inquiries.
  • Membership Inquiries - Resources for answering membership inquiries sent to the membership email: membership@urbansoil.net -to see who is currently answering emails go to Liaison List.
  • Candidate to member proposal - A proposed update to the process to clarify a few details

Meetings
